There are many ways to get financial assistance for college — from grants and employment to a wide variety of loans and scholarships. NTC provides a comprehensive array of aid options in addition to helping students and their families navigate the process of investigating and obtaining assistance from federal, state and private sources.

Our office is here to ensure you achieve your degree without spending a lot of time worrying about money. We also don’t want you to graduate with too much debt, so we will do our best to help you make the most responsible decisions possible.

2024-2025 FAFSA is Open

Take the 1st step and complete the FAFSA now.

  • To be considered for all Federal and State aid programs, complete the FAFSA as soon as possible. The application will require 2022 income tax for parents and student.
  • Federal Pell Grant recipients must finalize all registration within the first 30 days of the semester. A student who withdraws from a course within the first 30 days of the semester will have their Pell award reduced to the adjusted level of enrollment

2024-2025 FAFSA Processing Notice

The timeline for processing the 2024-2025 FAFSA applications has been affected by all of the changes brought on by FAFSA Simplification.  The Department of Education delayed the timeline for providing colleges and universities across the country with processed FAFSA information for students.  As a result, we have a revised estimated timeline for 2024-2025 FAFSA applicants:

  • March-April:  NTC will begin receiving FAFSA data for student applicants.
  • Late May:  NTC will notify students regarding additional information requests to complete the financial aid application.
  • July:  Fall 2024 bills and official financial aid offers will be available in eServices.  Students will be able to finalize awards, request student loans, etc.

We want to emphasize that while the timeline for receiving information has changed, the resulting aid eligibility should not change due to these delays.
