NTC is excited to offer students direct check out of books from:

– Northwest Technical College Library

– Leech Lake Tribal College Library

The NTC Library features many online databases for you to access for your research needs. If you don’t find what you need here try the NTC Catalog for resource sharing services from across Minnesota academic libraries. Electronic books and textbooks are not available for interlibrary loan. Contact Paula DeMars if you want assistance.

Academic Search Premier  – full text coverage in biology, chemistry, education, engineering, humanities, physics, psychology, religion and theology, sociology, etc.

Business Source Premier  – the database for full text journals in all disciplines of business, including marketing, management, MIS, POM, accounting, finance, econometrics and economics.

CINAHL Ultimate  – New for 2023! An expanded nursing and allied health research database service for students at NTC!

Dental Assistants Association Journal – Contact the Dental Department, Student Success Center or the Librarian for login and password to access this online resource.

DocuSeek – New for 2023! Streaming documentary video service on social, cultural and environmental issues from around the world.

Nurse Educator – Practical information and research related to nursing education, with topics ranging from curriculum, teaching and technology in nursing. Create a free account on this website to access a huge number of free resources and articles.

 Nurse Educator Podcasts – Free short podcasts from the publisher of Nurse Educator academic journal.

PLOS – Public Library of Science – includes scientific research in topics under contextualized peer review. See subject areas below:
