Funded Professional Development

If you attend or would like to attend a professional development opportunity that includes a cost, please use the following attached forms to apply for payment. For questions related to funding support, please contact Sheila Lapp for assistance.

Requesting Professional Development funds for Reimbursement

  1. Submit the travel request and expense report forms to your Dean (yes, even if you will not be traveling). Deans should return the signed documents back to you the faculty member.
  2. Submit your approved travel request, expense report and Professional Development application form (please print off the form after filling it out online) along with all receipts of payment to the Professional Development Chair.
  3. Include with these forms a printout or website explaining what you will be attending.

Requesting Professional Development funds with a PO

  1. Submit a travel request to your Dean (yes, even if you will not be traveling).
  2. Submit your approved travel request along with the Professional Development form to the Professional Development Chair.
  3. Include with these forms a printout or website explaining what you will be attending.
  4. Once these documents have been approved by the Professional Development committee, they will be returned to you and you may place the PO order.
