Student Senate
Student Senate serves to represent the students of NTC. Membership is elected from each program area. Officers of the organization are elected by the majority vote of the enrolled students. Student Senate aids other student organizations, establishes the protocols for campus-sponsored activities, promotes good conduct and allocates funds for many worthwhile projects.
Phi Theta Kappa
Phi Theta Kappa is a national honor society for academically successful students in two-year colleges. Phi Theta Kappa’s purpose is to provide leadership opportunities, recognize and encourage scholarship and foster opportunities for fellowship.
Student Nurses Association
The mission of the NTC Student Nurses Association is to excel in nursing education, extend a helping hand through community service and care for others beyond all expectations. Previous activities have included bingo nights in a local nursing home, support and assistance with Special Olympics and a tour of a medical chopper from the perspective of a flight nurse.
Electrical Club
The electrical club highlights NTC every year during the “Night We Light” parade in Bemidji. The electrical club creates a fantastic float that allows for the creativity of students and has looked many different ways over the years. There are also other creative projects and fun activities to participate in.
Early Childhood Club
NTC’s early childhood club hosts the annual Halloween bash at NTC, which hosts over 750 kids and over 1,000 parents! It is such a joy to see the smiles of the children and parents who come for that event. They also participate in area events, help with the dental program’s free children tooth cleaning day and other creative projects. This club is always close-knit and there are many lasting friendships made here!
VEX Robotics
NTC is beginning a VEX Robotics club. Please contact our excellent math instructor Gus Vettleson to find more details about this exciting new club.
Opportunities at Bemidji State
