Housing Options at BSU and in the Bemidji Area

While many NTC students commute or study online, the college offers the opportunity to live in student housing at Bemidji State University, with all the advantages of on-campus living. You can also find affordable rental housing in and around Bemidji.

BSU Campus Housing

Living on campus at Bemidji State adds another dimension to your college experience, with unbeatable convenience when it comes to your daily meals. Plus, you’ll meet lots of new people, enjoy special events and activities, and be steps away from such BSU campus services as the A.C. Clark Library and Gillett Wellness Center.

Options include traditional double and single rooms, as well as a variety of suites. Plus, Cedar Apartments offer an affordable option for single parents and their children.

Those who are interested in living in the BSU residence halls for the full semester must first complete a NTC Housing Form to gain access to BSU e-Services > Housing and Dining.

Need Short Term Housing

Bemidji State University Housing & Residential Life is offering short-stay housing opportunities in the BSU residence halls to NTC students who need short-term housing for in-person labs, clinicals and classes lasting a few weeks for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters. Previously limited to nursing students, this opportunity is now open to all NTC students, regardless of academic program.

Off-Campus Housing

The Bemidji area offers a variety of options for rental and other off-campus housing.

On-Campus Dining & Community Spaces

The NTC Commons is a welcoming space for students to gather for meals, meetings, and events. It features vending services with hot and refrigerated options, plus microwaves for student use. These vending selections are replenished regularly to ensure freshness and variety. NTCash and Beaver Bucks are accepted at vending machines for easy payment.

NTC student activities often include food, and pizza lunches are common for NTC Student Government meetings, adding to the sense of community on campus. Plus enjoy fresh popcorn every Tuesday and free coffee anytime in the Student Success Center.
