Bemidji State University Housing & Residential Life is offering short-stay housing opportunities in the BSU residence halls to NTC students who need short-term housing for in-person labs, clinicals and classes lasting a few weeks for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters. Previously limited to nursing students, this opportunity is now open to all NTC students, regardless of academic program.
Dorm Room Options & Rates
We will be housing all short-stay students in Oak Hall (#36 on the attached BSU campus map).
- Double-as-single room (room without a roommate) at $33.97 per night/per person.
- Double room (with a roommate) at $27.94 per night/per person. Please note that each roommate must complete a Short Stay Application.
Each room includes Twin XL (extra-long) beds, a desk with a chair, closets and NTC Wi-Fi.
- Bed linens are available for a one-time charge of $5.00 for the semester, including Twin XL sheets and a blanket.
- A mini refrigerator can be rented for $5.00 for the semester.
Floor Amenities
- Community kitchen with a sink, stove and microwave.
- Community bathrooms with sinks, toilets and shower stalls.

2026-2027 BSU Housing & Residential Life – Short Stay Application
Priority Deadline
- August 15 for Fall 2026
- December 15 for Spring 2027
Students can complete the short stay app after the priority deadline, but we ask that all new requests are made with more than 2 business days’ advance notice.
Full-Semester Housing at BSU
Did you know, BSU also has full-semester residence hall housing for NTC students. Those who are interested in living in the BSU residence halls for the full semester must first complete a NTC Housing Form to gain access to BSU e-Services > Housing and Dining.
