LPN Step-In Admission Process

LPN Step-In Program

The LPN Step-In degree is a three-semester program with a spring term start. This program is delivered via a hybrid model. Lectures are online. Labs and clinicals have onsite requirements at NTC and/or at our local clinical agencies. Block scheduling is utilized.

LPN Step-In graduates are eligible to apply to take the NCLEX-RN exam for licensure as a registered nurse (RN).

On-site Requirements

On-site requirements for lab and clinical courses are discussed during program orientation and specified on the class schedule.

Admission to NTC does not guarantee admission into the LPN Step-In program. Admission to the program is required in order to enroll in nursing classes designated with the ADNG prefix.
