Workforce Development Scholarships

Thanks to the Minnesota State’s Workforce Development Scholarship program, Northwest Technical College offers a number of workforce development scholarships for students each fall. Scholarships are available to students enrolling in high demand fields.

Priority application review will be given to applications received before or on April 30, but applications will still be accepted after that date.  Full-time, NTC students pursuing careers in automotive service, early childhood education or childcare, dental assisting, emerging computer technology, engineering technology, health science broad field, health care admin support or specialist, medical coding, gerontology, nursing generic, practical nursing and community health worker (first term only) are welcome to apply. Eligible programs at NTC:

  • Engineering Technology
  • Health Science Broad field
  • Health Care Admin Support/Specialist
  • Medical Coding
  • nursing Generic

Students must be Minnesota Residents and students who plan to enroll full-time. Priority is given to new, first year students, but transfer and returning students are welcome to apply.
