Workforce Development Scholarships

NTC has been allocated a total of 25 Workforce Development Scholarships for students for the fall 2022 semester in certain high demand fields. Applications received by May 31, 2022 will receive priority review and consideration, but applications after that date will still be accepted.  Scholarships are $2,500 each (award amount divided equally between the fall 22 and spring 23 semesters).

Students pursuing careers in automotive service, early childhood education, dental assisting, emerging computer technology, engineering technology, health science broad field, health care admin support or specialist, medical coding, gerontology and aging, nursing generic, practical nursing and community health worker (first term only) are welcome to apply.

(Students that earn the WDS at NTC are eligible for a 3rd year of the same scholarship if they transfer to BSU after completing their chosen program at NTC)

Students must be Minnesota Residents who are enrolled full-time (9 credit minimum). Priority is given to new, first year students, but transfer and returning students are welcome to apply. Please complete the form below.
