This 18-credit certificate concentrates on providing the skills needed to sell products and services, develop market strategies and prepare small business market plans. Instruction and hands-on learning will cover topics such as principles in marketing, retail management, advertising and promotion, and e-marketing.

The 18 credits earned through the Sales & Marketing Certificate apply toward the 32-credit Sales & Marketing Diploma. Additional coursework will focus on topics such as business communications, customer relations management and advanced professional selling.

College Readiness

A student may be required to enroll in college readiness courses in reading, writing and math. A student’s scores on the Accuplacer assessment will determine enrollment in college readiness courses.
