Apply Now

Step 1 — Complete the Online Application. As of March 10th, 2023 we are no longer charging an application fee. It is now free to apply to NTC!

Upon submission of your application, you will be informed of additional requirements needed to complete your admission to the college. You will receive an email notification with your Student ID number.

If you are not able to complete the application online, download the NTC Admissions Application and follow the instructions in it.

Step 2 — Request your official high school or GED transcript be sent to the NTC Admissions office. To secure an official transcript, contact your high school and request a sealed paper copy of your transcript be sent to:

Northwest Technical College Admissions
905 Grant Ave SE
Bemidji, MN 56601

If your high school is equipped to send an official copy digitally, they will need to do so using Parchment or National Student Clearinghouse. To obtain an official GED transcript, visit the Department of Education website for the state you completed it and follow the instructions for the request form. Be sure to request they send it directly to us via email at admissions@ntcmn.edu or postal mail.

Exception: If you have completed at least 24 college credits, NTC does NOT need your high school or GED transcripts.

Step 3 — Request your official college or university transcripts be sent to Northwest Technical College. If you attended any MinnState college or university, those transcripts are automatically sent to NTC when your NTC application is processed.

For non-MinnState institutions in the United States, request a transcript through your school’s website or by calling their Records Office. The school(s) can send your transcript(s) by email to admissions@ntcmn.edu, through Parchment or National Student Clearinghouse or by mail to:

Northwest Technical College Admissions
905 Grant Avenue SE
Bemidji, MN 56601

Note: Transcripts from colleges and universities outside the United States must be evaluated by ECE (www.ece.org) or WES (www.wes.org) with the evaluation report sent to NTC. For questions and clarification on international college transcripts, contact admissions@ntcmn.edu.
