PSEO Students

Get a head start on college with Northwest Technical College’s PSEO program.

The Post Secondary Education Opportunities (PSEO) program was implemented by the Minnesota Legislature to give students an opportunity to enhance or enrich the education that they are receiving at their local high school, alternative area learning center, charter school or home school.

The PSEO Advantage

Why enroll in PSEO? Talented and motivated high school students who are capable of handling college-level work have the opportunity to challenge themselves while completing their high school graduation requirements. Not only will you grow intellectually, you will signal to future schools and employers that you are smart, hard-working and ambitious.

Who Can Apply?

PSEO accepts applications from qualified high school juniors and seniors. Juniors must rank in the top 30% of their graduating class and seniors must rank in the top 50% of their graduating class to be eligible to enroll. Note: Students must maintain a 2.0 g.p.a. at NTC to remain eligible for the PSEO program.

The PSEO program will cover the cost of tuition, fees and books for eligible courses whether you are part-time or full-time.
