NTC’s Dental Assisting program holds its annual kickoff meeting for incoming students

Northwest Technical College’s dental assistance program held its annual informational session kick-off for enrolled students on August 25.

Faculty members Terri Bannor and Siau Yean Montgomery gave the students information about the program and NTC OneStop staff introduced themselves and provided additional information on the services they offered. NTC’s dental assistance program is designed to be completed in 12 months and enrolls new students each fall.

The 45-credit diploma prepares graduates to become a chair-side dental clinician with courses focusing on dental anatomy, radiology, pharmacology and dental practice management. It also is a stepping stone for students to advance to a Dental Assisting Associate of Applied Science degree.
