Ultrasound Physics II
This course will build on physics knowledge introduced in Ultrasound Physics 1. This course will include Doppler physics, hemodynamics and instrumentation. The student will apply the parameters of sound waves to an echo exam. They will also develop a better understanding of interaction of sound in media, types of resolution, artifacts, bioeffects and quality assurance. Preparation for Sonography Principles & Instrumentation (SPI) board exam will also be included. Prerequisite(s): ECHO1200 Corequisite(s): ECHO1500 & 1600
