Echocardiography I

This course will cover the history and understanding of echocardiography in a hospital and clinical setting. This course will also cover cardiac anatomy and basic EKG. Students will learn the embryology of the heart along with the pressures within the heart. The students will gain an understanding of ultrasound machines, knobology, scanning techniques and be able to identify basic cardiac anatomy on an echocardiogram. Prerequisite(s): BIOL2260 Corequisite(s): ECHO1100
