Practical Nursing Courses

PNSG 1236

PN Practicum

Credits: 2

Description: This practicum experience provides the opportunity to integrate the knowledge and concepts learned throughout the curriculum. The student will be responsible for multiple patient assignments. Demonstration of safe and effective nursing care is required. PNSG1216, 1226 and 1236 will, in combination, incorporate individuals/patients across the life span and throughout the whole wellness, acute, and chronic illness continuum. Successful completion of this course indicates successful completion of the Minnesota Board of Nursing Abilities associated with this course. Prerequisite: Successful completion of all required Practical Nursing courses.
