Despite Rain, NTC’s Student Senate Hosts Welcome Bash for Campus

Despite a thunderstorm, the Northwest Technical College Student Senate held an indoor welcome bash for the college community to meet their student senators.

The event featured pulled pork sandwiches, games for students, an impromptu corn-hole tournament and door prizes. The event was both a welcome event for students returning to campus and invited students to get to know those elected to represent them to the NTC administration team.

The Student Senate establishes protocols for campus-sponsored activities, allocates funds for campus projects and uplifts other student organizations. Senators are elected from each program with officers elected by enrolled students.
