This course presents the basic principles of pharmaceuticals. Including pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, common adverse/side effects, and contraindications to drug use. Emphasizing drug classifications and nursing care related to the safe administration of medications across the life span. Prerequisites: Admission into the Program Co-requisites: Program sequencing must be followed
