Forced Air Systems Theory
This course covers gas, fuel oil and electric heating equipment, primarily furnaces. Emphasis is placed on understanding the theory of operation and design of ductwork that exist within an HVAC system. Basics of indoor air quality (IAQ) and its effects on building inhabitants will be covered. The student will gain a thorough understanding of the relationship between IAQ and the theory of forced air heating systems. Prerequisite: None
