Child and Family Relations in a Diverse World
This course provides the learner with an opportunity to examine how current societal and community issues impact the well-being of children and the well-being of families. Cultural diversity/dynamics, bias, public education, housing, employment, crime, health care, legal services and social services will be explored. This course meets Knowledge and Competency Framework requirements for the Parent Aware Star Rating. Prerequisite(s): None Co-requisite(s): ENGL1100
