Employment

As a graduate of our Electrical Construction & Maintenance program, you will enter the workforce as a construction electrician apprentice and you’ll be equipped to work toward a journeyman or master electrician’s license. The construction electricity diploma opens a wide range of career opportunities for you, depending on your interests and skill level.

Employers are actively seeking talented young electrical students. The opportunities for employment are plentiful, and students who have graduated from NTC’s electrical program are working in various capacities all across the country. Related field advancement options include maintenance, sales, low voltage alarm services, data cabling and management.

Degree Requirements

The program includes courses in wiring practices, electrical theory, National Electrical Code application, programmable controllers, and troubleshooting.
