Plumbing Technical Drawing

Description: This course provides the learner with the technical understanding and skills in blueprint reading needed by the plumbing industry. Topics include drawing interpretation, isometric sketches of piping/duct installation and drafting mechanical plans for residential construction. Prerequisite(s): None

  1. Identify the relations between metric and English mathematical systems

  4. Understand pipe offset formulas as they relate to increased producttivity and accuracy.
  5. Adapt drainage pipe trench slope as required volume determination.
  6. Sequence tank and pipe capacity requirements.
  7. Adjust various views of piping systems.
  8. Transform basic project documents.
  9. Understand isometric view angles.
