This can be emailed to BSU-NTC-HR@bemidjistate.edu<\/li>\n<li>Consult with Human Resources staff well in advance so that you are informed about termination of your pay and benefits, the opportunity to continue coverage (COBRA), retirement fund options, and policies about payoff of unused leave balances.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><a id=\"termination\"><\/a>Termination of Employment<\/h3>\n<p>Refer to your bargaining agreement or personnel plan for specific details regarding termination of employment. See\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bemidjistate.edu\/offices\/human-resources\/employees\/employee-labor-relations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bargaining Agreements or Personnel Plans.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Supervisor\u2019s Responsibilities for Separating Employees<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>As soon as possible the supervisor\/dean must provide Human Resources with a completed CPD\/UPD along with the original written separation notice provided by the employee.<\/li>\n<li>Supervisor and Employee to complete <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ntcmn.edu\/offices\/human-resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/65\/2025\/12\/Supervisor-Offboarding-Checklist.pdf\">Offboarding Checklist<\/a> and return to HR.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div>\n<p class=\"smaller\"><em>(The above list is not all inclusive, see actual checklist for details)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3>Special Circumstances<\/h3>\n<p>For special circumstance or any situations not specifically addressed in this section, contact\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:carol.hess@bemidjistate.edu\">Human Resources<\/a>\u00a0for further information and assistance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Resignation Procedures Employees are required to give written notification to Human Resources and to their supervisor\/dean of intent to resign.
