Series<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion presents the You Matter! series. The series was developed to give voice to stakeholders. The <i>You Matter! <\/i>series is a space for knowledge gathering and critical listening. Students, faculty and staff are welcome to join in on the conversation. The series is composed of two modalities, Let\u2019s Talk and Expert Opinion. <i>Let\u2019s Talk<\/i> are interactive conversations facilitated by the Campus Diversity Officer. This experience focuses on critical topics concerning all stakeholders. <i>Expert Opinion<\/i> are sessions that explore critical topics through the lens of an expert in the field.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.bemidjistate.edu\/ntc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Check for Next Event<\/a><\/p>\n<h2><b>Annual Cultural Observances<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>To ensure inclusivity, acknowledgement and knowledge sharing, annually we observe culturally significant moments in time. As an institution of higher education, it is our privilege to educate our students, community and world by centering the narratives and journeys of marginalized persons and cultures.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ntcmn.edu\/offices\/diversity-equity-inclusion\/center-for-diversity-equity-and-inclusion-2\/q-a\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Annual Cultural Observances<\/a><\/p>\n<h2><b>Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Antiracism plus Timeline<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bemidjistate.edu\/offices\/diversity-equity-inclusion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">university<\/a> and college have taken an active role in dismantling hatred and engaging in inclusivity from their beginnings, and we want to share this journey with you. The DEIA+ Timeline was designed to transparently guide stakeholders through the journey of DEIA+ for our institutions.
