The graduates were not required to attend the ceremony and not all graduates will be in attendance.<\/p>\n<p>The event is closed to the public, but each graduate participating in the ceremony could request four guest tickets.<\/p>\n<p>The NTC campus grounds will be open to the public for self-guided tours and visits throughout May 7, but campus buildings remain closed to the public as part of ongoing COVID-19 mitigation efforts. No permits are required in college parking lots on Commencement day.<\/p>\n<h3>Online Streaming<\/h3>\n<p>Commencement will again be available through a live online video stream. The stream will be available at the start of each ceremony, Central time; viewers are encouraged to visit the stream in advance to ensure that necessary plug-ins are present and properly functioning.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/NorthwestTechnicalCollege\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Facebook&nbsp;<i title=\"External link\" class=\"bsu-icon bsu-icon-external-link small ms-1\"><\/i><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/northwesttech\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Vimeo &ndash; ASL services available<i title=\"External link\" class=\"bsu-icon bsu-icon-external-link small ms-1\"><\/i><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Commencement Speakers<\/h3>\n<p>The Northwest Technical College class of 2021 will hear from a number of speakers both in-person and virtually including President <b>Faith C. Hensrud<\/b>, Vice President of Academic Affairs <b>Darrin Strosahl<\/b> and J<b>eanne Edevold Larson<\/b>, executive director at Bemidji&rsquo;s Northern Dental Access Center.<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony will also feature an address by NTC&rsquo;s <b>Lorrie Prickett<\/b>, a nursing and health science broad field graduate from Bemidji.<\/p>\n<h3>Tobacco-Free Campus<\/h3>\n<p>NTC&rsquo;s visitors are reminded that the campus is tobacco-free.
