The Northwest Small Business Development Center is offering a training session on QuickBooks and Peachtree accounting software.<\/p>\n
The training is targeted to small-business owners and will be offered as a three-hour workshop, Jan. 23, in room 315 on the Northwest Technical College campus in Bemidji.<\/p>\n
The three-hour session, which begins at 12:30 p.m., will provide an in-depth look at year-end preparation, including entry adjustment, financial statement analysis, payroll, fixed assets and depreciation.<\/p>\n
Participants are asked to bring a copy of their current financial statements. A limited number of laptops will be available, but participants are strongly encouraged to bring their own computers.<\/p>\n
To register for the workshops, please contact Jaimee Meyer at the Northwest Small Business Development Center at jmeyer9@cord.edu. Pre-registration is required; the workshop carries a fee of $49. Full scholarships are available for military veterans; contact Meyer for additional details.<\/p>\n
The Small Business Development Center will continually offer training on a quarterly basis to help small business owners correctly update financial statements and to ensure accounting entries are adjusted correctly. Additional training opportunities will be announced in the future.<\/p>\n
