The traditional hat parade highlighted an evening of horse racing merriment with actual horse race videos, &ldquo;funny money&rdquo; for betting, a pasta buffet, silent and live auctions and prizes.<\/p>\n<p>The fundraiser was held at the Beaux Arts Ballroom at Bemidji State University, and 100% of all donations support Northwest Technical College student scholarships.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Northwest Technical College Foundation hosted its Ninth Annual \u201cA Nite at the Races\u201d scholarship fundraiser April 28.
