Northwest Technical College and Bemidji State University are partnering to expand mental health services available to students with $120,000 in funding from the Minnesota State Multi-campus Collaboration Grant program.
Bemidji State University and Northwest Technical College have been awarded nearly $500,000 through the Governor’s Emergency Educational Relief grant funding for a project to deliver technology for distance learning to students in need.

Northwest Technical College stands ready to welcome students back to campus for the fall 2020 semester beginning August 24. Following guidance from a variety of sources, including executive orders issued by Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, the Minnesota Department of Health and the Minnesota State system of colleges and universities, classes will be delivered in a variety methods to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in Bemidji.

To ensure the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff and the Bemidji community, Northwest Technical College has developed a Return-to-Campus Preparedness Plan in response to the COVID-19 pandemic utilizing guidance offered in all currently active Minnesota Emergency Executive Orders and by the Minnesota Office of Higher Education, Minnesota Department of Health, the Minnesota State system of colleges and universities, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
