This three-term, spring-start program builds on your prior nursing education and experience, allowing you to move efficiently toward RN licensure while maintaining a structured, supportive learning environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delivered in a hybrid format, the LPN Step-In program combines online coursework with required on-campus learning and hands-on clinical experiences. This flexible structure supports working LPNs while ensuring the in-person skill development and clinical preparation essential for professional nursing practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Graduates of the program are eligible to apply for Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and may continue their education through RN-to-BSN pathway options. With experienced faculty, strong clinical partnerships, and clear expectations for progression, Northwest Technical College&rsquo;s LPN Step-In program provides a focused, efficient path to the next class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>MinnState Schools:<\/strong>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you&rsquo;ve attended a Minnesota State college or university since the early 1990s, NTC can usually retrieve your official transcript automatically when your NTC application is processed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If your record was created before electronic systems or if you have an unpaid balance at a previous MinnState school, that transcript cannot be released,  you&rsquo;ll need to contact that school directly to request a paper copy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Note: The University of Minnesota is not part of the MinnState system and must be requested separately.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Military Transcripts<\/strong>\n\n\n<ul Applicants are ranked using their prerequisite GPA, with a minimum GPA of 2.76 required for eligibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Acceptance Notification<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Each student who has submitted a complete admissions file by a posted deadline will receive an email from the Nursing Admission Team indicating whether they have been&nbsp;accepted into the program, placed on the program waiting list or are currently ineligible for the program.
