Institutional Effectiveness and Assessment at NTC helps to improve curriculum development processes and a campus-wide understanding of assessment. This work includes improvement of learning outcomes, aligning course, program, and college outcomes, and increasing the quality of instruction.
The role of the IE&A Coordinator is to lead, in collaboration with faculty expertise in their subject areas, the development, facilitation, and evaluation of professional development and provide consultation in the design and implementation of high-quality assessments. The Coordinator is also responsible for college accreditation and reporting, participates in institutional planning, and works to build and strengthen the campus community.
