Safety Awareness

This course aligns with the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council's (MSSC) assessment and certification system for Safety. The curriculum is based upon federally endorsed national standards for production workers including Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA) standards relating to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), lockout/tagout (LOTO), Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), tool safety, and confined spaces. Prerequisites: Appropriate placement scores for Reading
