The Northwest Small Business Development Center is offering a training session on QuickBooks and Peachtree accounting software.
The training is targeted to small-business owners and will be offered as a three-hour workshop, Jan. 23, in room 315 on the Northwest Technical College campus in Bemidji.
The three-hour session, which begins at 12:30 p.m., will provide an in-depth look at year-end preparation, including entry adjustment, financial statement analysis, payroll, fixed assets and depreciation.
Participants are asked to bring a copy of their current financial statements. A limited number of laptops will be available, but participants are strongly encouraged to bring their own computers.
To register for the workshops, please contact Jaimee Meyer at the Northwest Small Business Development Center at email@example.com. Pre-registration is required; the workshop carries a fee of $49. Full scholarships are available for military veterans; contact Meyer for additional details.
The Small Business Development Center will continually offer training on a quarterly basis to help small business owners correctly update financial statements and to ensure accounting entries are adjusted correctly. Additional training opportunities will be announced in the future.
