Sept. 6, 2012 —Small businesses can learn how to create and publish an online presence in less than an hour at a Sept. 20 workshop offered by the Northwest Minnesota Small Business Development Center.
The center will offer a four-part workshop on Sept. 20 at the Sanford Center, located at 111 Event Center Drive NE in Bemidji. The workshop begins at 8:30 a.m., and runs until 4:30 p.m. A $10 registration fee covers lunch, a light breakfast and refreshments. Participants are also able to attend individual workshops if unable to attend for the entire day.
The workshop will show how, in a few easy steps, businesses can quickly get online and, using professional templates, establish a web presence.
Sponsored by Google, Google+ and Google for Nonprofits, participants will learn how to get a business online (session 1, 8:30 – 10:30 a.m.), how to grow a business online (session 2, 10:30 a.m. – noon), will be introduced to the Google+ social network (session 3, 1 – 2:30 p.m.) and learn about Google for Nonprofits (3 – 4:30 p.m.).
