Optivation offering prep course for boiler special engineer licensure exam

Optivation, a custom training venture operated by Bemidji State University and Northwest Technical College, is offering a 12-hour course for persons seeking boiler operator special engineers licensure, beginning May 17.

The course will be held May 17, 20 and 22 in Room 315 at Northwest Technical College, from 4-8 p.m. each day. The course carries a fee of $175, which includes course materials. Registration is available online at optivation.org.

This course will provide participants with the knowledge needed to take the state of Minnesota’s special engineers examination. No previous experience with boilers is necessary to take this course.

The course will be taught by Robert “Bob” Goggleye.
