Profile: Brian Rawls

When his Army career ended, Brian Rawls knew he wanted to maximize his veterans education benefits.
The medical field was appealing, and NTC was a good match. "Initially, I hoped to take classes at NTC to work towards my respiratory therapy degree at another school," Brian says. "But I stayed at NTC to complete the LPN program and make the most of my veterans benefits."

His new career has led to Portland, Oregon, where he works as an in-flight trauma nurse. Despite the move, the Bemidji area left a positive impression.

"My wife is also an NTC graduate, and we both enjoyed the college so much," he says. "You also have endless options for hunting and the outdoors, and it's great place to live."
