Setting up your preferences
You can change your course home preferences from My Home, in the Welcome Box, click My Preferences.
How do I change my font?
- Select the General tab (selected by default).
- Select to change the font Face and Size Under the heading Font Settings, use the drop-downs to change the font face and font size.
- Click SAVE.
How do I change discussion settings?
Discussions are where you will chat with friends and/or classmates. You can change the following discussion preferences:
- Discussion Topics Frame
- Search Bar
- Search Bar Type
- Topics List Type
- View Type (Threaded, Not threaded)
How do I create an email signature?
- The email signature setup is located under the Email Tab
- Type your email signature in the provided text box.
- Click Save.
How do I change the paging value?
The Paging value is the number of search results that you would like to display per page in each tool. This option allows you to choose to limit or expand the number of search results you see by page in each tool.
- Select the Paging tab and choose a value with an increment of 50 from the drop list.
How do I change the pager sound?
- Select the Pager tab.
- Select to turn the pager icon on or off (the pager icon displays in the top right course home page)
- Click SAVE.
The applicable sound will register in your next page.
How do I change my password?
To change your password from your Course Home page, select the My Password link from the Welcome box. The Change Password dialog displays allowing you to type your old password and select and confirm a new password. Click to navigate back to your Course Home page.
