The College provides a program of instructional services to learners who
may potentially have, or are currently having academic difficulties due
to learning difficulties, physical disabilities, lack of academic preparation,
or other factors that may affect learner progress. Services are available
from specially trained staff in the areas of:
* Improvement of study skills
* Communication skills
* Math skills
Peer tutoring is also available to learners who need help with the technical content areas within their program. Individual and group tutoring is available in technical and general education subjects, as well as basic skills areas.
Services for learners matching eligibility requirements may include taped textbooks, read aloud testing, modified environment, or curriculum accommodations.
Learners with special requirements are urged to take advantage of the
services provided by the Learning Enrichment Center at the campus.
