Credit Transfer

Northwest Technical College grants enrolled learners transfer credit toward a college major based on the following criteria:

1. The sending institution must be regionally accredited at the higher education level.
2. The course work to be transferred must be equivalent to the course for which transfer is requested.
3. The course grade must be at least a “C”. Pass (P) credits cannot be used to transfer to a technical area.
4. Transfer of technical credits shall be allowed for courses that have been completed within five years prior to the transfer application.
5. Applied and liberal arts general education courses have no time limit.
6. Official college transcripts must be on file.

Individuals must request that their credits be evaluated for transfer by completing a transfer of credit worksheet. Print the form below, complete it, and submit to Dave Collins in counseling services along with a copy of your transcripts.
