Diploma — Motorsports Technology

NOTE: THE Motorsports technology PROGRAM IS RECEIVING INQUIRIES AS WE SEEK TO RELOCATE THE PROGRAM TO ANOTHER INSTITUTION. YOUR INQUIRY WILL BE PASSED ALONG TO THE INSTITUTION.

This 49-credit diploma builds off the foundations established in the Automotive Chassis & Powertrain certificate by introducing students to high-performance technologies.

An additional eight courses, plus a capstone project, is required for the diploma. Courses will focus on high-performance welding, drive lines, chassis repair and setup, suspensions and fuel, electronics and ignitions. Students also will explore motorsports fabrication.

College Readiness

A student may be required to enroll in college readiness courses in reading, writing and math. A student’s scores on the Accuplacer assessment will determine enrollment in college readiness courses. The purpose of college readiness courses is to prepare students for the demands of a college-level curriculum. Credits may vary.
