All credits earned through this certificate may be applied toward may be applied to the Automotive Service Technology diploma program or the Automotive Service Technician AAS degree program at Northwest Technical College, with the exception of the 1-credit first aid/CPR course that is not necessary for the AAS degree.

College Readiness

A student may be required to enroll in college readiness courses in reading, writing and math. A student’s scores on the Accuplacer assessment will determine enrollment in college readiness courses. The purpose of college readiness courses is to prepare students for the demands of a college-level curriculum. Credits may vary.
