Northwest Technical College is a great learning environment where learners get a college education at 1/3 the price of a university. Small classes, smart instructors and hands-on learning opportunities build their self-esteem and boost their confidence. The school atmosphere is welcoming and warm. And, while it?s a small school, NTC's relationship with Bemidji State University allows learners to experience college life by living in a BSU dorm, taking advantage of their dining services, fitness facilities and even participating in BSU programs. Some 2-year NTC program credits transfer directly to BSU and work towards a 4-year degree, should your son or daughter want to continue their education at the university level.

Parents are important to a successful college transition. We want to include you in the process from day one until graduation. Each semester you will get a newsletter with important information from NTC. Please contact the admissions office for any questions you may have about NTC and request to be on our parent mailing list.

As a parent, in order to communicate with you, we need permission from your son or daughter once they apply for admission because of FERPA laws. You can download this form or have it mailed to you. Your son or daughter also received a copy in the mail after they completed their application.
