Application Requirements

If you are an international student please contact the admissions office for additional requirements.

1. Complete an application form. (see below)
   
2. Submit a high school transcript, a copy of your high school diploma, or your GED.
   We don't need your high school transcript if you've previously earned an AA, AAS, Bachelor's degree or higher. If applicable, please include college transcripts to see if credits will transfer, financial aid purposes, and to possibly waive the assessment.  We can automatically access transcripts from any MnSCU college or university. 
   
3. Complete the assessment or request a waiver.

Application Form

There is a $20 application processing fee. Select one of these ways of applying:

1. Apply online
2. Download the application in PDF format.  If you are an international student, you must complete this paper application.

3. Request an application using our request info form, or by calling 218-333-6645.

Transfer Learners

If you have attended college previously to NTC and would like to have an initial credit transfer evaluation, please submit transcripts to the admissions office.

You will need to request this service by calling 218-333-6645 or contact Kari Kantack

NTC will have our registrar and an advisor look at your transcript to determine any potential credit transfer options.
