College Readiness Courses: A learner may be required to enroll in college readiness courses in reading, writing and math. A learner's scores on the Accuplacer assessment will determine enrollment in college readiness courses. The purpose of college readiness courses is to prepare learners for the demands of a college-level curriculum. Credits may vary.

Course Prerequisite: HLTH1110 Nursing Assistant (3 credits) or OBRA1100 Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide (4 credits) must be completed before enrolling in any courses with the PNSG prefix but may be taken along with the required general education courses (e.g. BIOL2221, BIOL2252, BIOL2254, ENGL1111, PSYC2201).

HPER2200 CPR for the Healthcare Provider (1 credit) must be completed before enrolling in PNSG1216 PN Clinical I. CPR certification must be maintained throughout the clinical courses PNSG1226 PN Clinical II and PNSG1236 Practicum.
