Would you like to oversee and manage the administrative or clinical areas of a medical facility such as an independent physician’s office, urgent care center or surgery center? NTC’s Medical Practices Office Manager program can help you develop the knowledge and skills you need to begin your medical office career. Our AAS degree is designed to teach you how to successfully manage personnel, conduct marketing relations, perform accounting functions such as billing and coding, ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, develop policies and procedures, oversee technology functions and conduct other administrative functions for the organization.

Graduates of this program are eligible for Certified Medical Manager (CMM) certification, a nationally recognized symbol of excellence in healthcare medical practice management. For those only interested in a specialized area of the medical office, we offer shorter certification and diploma programs focused on medical coding, insurance and transcription.
Credits earned in the Northwest Technical College Medical Practices Office Manager Program can transfer to Business Administration programs at Bemidji State University and Mayville State University.
