Modeling Communications

Credits: 2

Description: This course in an introduction to three dimensional communication techniques for the model making profession. Utilizing hand tools, project construction will include an awareness of attention to detail, design and technical problem-solving. Prerequisite(s): None

  1. Prepare an efolio with emphasis on model projects.
  2. Demonstrate use of materials utilized in the model making industry.
  3. Identify and solve problems associated with construction of simplistic models.
  4. Demonstrate basic safety procedures designed to protect the learners and equipment.
  5. Prepare a professional powerpoint presentation for peer review.
  6. Develop code of behavior appropriate to work environment.
  7. Accurately construct models following basic sketches and diagrams.
  8. Demonstrate usage of "hand" tools during model construction
