Computer Literacy

Description: This course is designed to provide learners with the computer literacy skills necessary to successfully complete their programs. Course components include: E-folio, D2L, E-mail, Smartthinking and Research, computer security concepts. Prerequisite(s): None

  1. Use D2L to access grades and instructor feedback as well as submit coursework and quizzes.
  2. Access student e-mail services to send and receive e-mail including attachments.
  3. Set up an e-folio account and use e-folio tools.
  4. Access Smartthinking and other Library resources to conduct research.
  5. Identify appropriate and available security measures in maintaining personal computer.
